I found my birth mother in 1995 in Grand Pass, Oregon.  I believe everybody has the right to search and meet those affected by the triad.  It has brought me great peace and understanding to meet my birth mother and brother.  The roller coaster, that we ride during the searching and finding process, has been a smoother ride with the help and support from Search Finders.  I personally believe that searching is the easy part compared  the support needed after finding which is so important.

I came to Search-Finders of California in May of 2000. This was after searching for my birth family for many years on my own. I had submitted what information I had to every search web site that I found. As you know unless someone is also looking for you there will never be a match. With the help of Search-Finders I was reunited with my birth family on August 21, 2001.
I was born Baby Girl Wirth on April 1st, 1966 in Parkridge, Illinois. Adopted at birth and named Pamela Marie See. Returned August 21, 2001 to my mother, six siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, a grandmother, and lucky to have met my 92 year old Nana on my fathers side before she passed away. Unfortunately my father had been deceased since 1977.
I am married to a wonderful man, who gets me and my insecurities. We have one son who is 11years old and the first person I knew who shared my blood.
In 2001 was asked to be on Search-Finders staff as a greeter and co-membership position. Currently I am the secretary, co-membership chairperson and willing to help with whatever projects are needed to keep Search-Finders the great organization that helped me find my voice to say “ I want my mother!”

I was adopted at birth, along with my biological twin sister, in New York City, NY.  We were raised together.  We both searched at different times in our lives for our birth mother, but to no avail.  It's very difficult in New York to find out much information.  I do have my mother's last name, but no first name or where she came from.  I have been a member of SearchFinders since August 2002, and have been on staff as Treasurer since November 2003.

I am a Birth-mom.  I have found both of my sons and have a cordial relationship.  Most important for me is to know that they both had wonderful loving parents, great educations and are content with their lives.
My position in Search Finders of California is bookseller.  I hope to be a "roving reporter" and collect some of the great stories from adoptees, birth-moms, adoptive parents and anyone else willing to be heard.
